The first steps have been taken towards our trip overseas. This morning, I took in the 20-odd documents that StudentFlights required for a UK working holiday visa application, and they sent them off to the High Commission, for Judgement ™. It apparently takes about 14 working days, but I’m hoping it will be sooner than that. Reason being, is that you can’t or shouldn’t, really, book your flights until the visa has come through, and we’re wanting to leave in mid-January 2007, which means that time is running out.
Time schmime. We’ll make it. All we can do now… is eat.
Jen’s the lucky one in all of this… She doesn’t have to get a visa or anything because she’s a British citizen. Brit[t]ish. I always felt that it should be spelt with two T’s. Phneagh. Changing names of countries is Not Fun.
And so, the blog begins. It’s going to be so much easier to just post everything here, along with pictures, and videos, as we navigate Europe. So check back here whenever you can, because we’ll both be posting whenever we have a spare chance. Also, look out for the new Bug Unit initiative, Ducklight Travels. It’s going to rock your world.
